Which party game should we play?
| If you want… | Try |
|---|---|
| A pushing contest for 2, 3 or 4 players | Sumo |
| A test of who reacts fastest | Reaction Duel |
Up to four players on one screen
In Sumo, each player gets a corner of the screen, so up to four people can play at once on a tablet laid flat on a table. With two players, each gets half the screen, and the top player's button is turned to face them. Reaction Duel is for two: each player has a big pad of their own colour.
Good for a quick break
Party games need no explanation: watch one round and you know how to play. They're good for filling a few minutes, warming up a class or deciding who goes first in a longer game. There's nothing to install and no sign-up, and a match is over in about a minute.
Playing against the computer
Both games have a computer opponent with four levels, from Easy to Expert. In Sumo you can choose 3 or 4 players and take on two or three computer wrestlers at once. The computer sees only what you see: in Sumo its taps are never perfectly timed, and in Reaction Duel it has a reaction time of its own and can fall for the decoy.
