For parents and teachers

Alpha Brain Games is a general-audience website of free games for two players on one screen: classic board games, simple sports and quick reaction contests. Here's what you should know.

Safe by design

  • No accounts. Nobody signs up or logs in, and we never ask for names, emails or ages.
  • No chat. Players can't contact strangers. The games are played face to face, on one device.
  • Nothing to buy. There are no in-game purchases, coins or subscriptions.
  • No ads during games. We may show ads on our pages to keep the site free, but never while a game is being played.
  • No game history. Nothing shows past results, streaks or rankings, so there's no pressure to keep playing. Our visitor statistics count the games played, but not who played them (see the privacy policy).

Good for families

Two-player games on one screen are a great way to play together. The board games teach turn-taking, planning ahead and good sportsmanship. Every game has a computer opponent with an Easy level that's gentle with beginners, so children can learn the rules before playing a grown-up.

Good for classrooms

  • Games start in a second on school laptops, tablets and interactive whiteboards: there's nothing to install.
  • Short rounds fit into the end of a lesson or a wet break.
  • The games run on a single device, so pairs of students can play together.
  • Each game page explains the rules simply, with tips that encourage strategic thinking.

Questions

Is the site suitable for young children?

The games are suitable for all ages. Younger children may need help with the rules at first, and the Easy level is made for them.

Do the games need a fast connection?

No. The pages are small and load quickly, and the games don't stream anything while you play.
