2 player games

Every game on this page is made for two people sharing one device. Pick a game, choose 2 Players, and start playing in a second. No download, no sign-up.

How two-player games work here

All of these games are played face to face on one screen. Board games like Chess, Checkers, Mancala and Reversi are played in turns, so you simply pass the device or put it between you. In Sea Battle, where each player hides a fleet, a cover screen hides the boards while the device changes hands. Dice games like Ludo and Snakes and Ladders take up to four players. Real-time games like Air Hockey and Reaction Duel split the screen: on a phone held upright, one player uses the bottom half and the other the top half. On a computer, one player uses the keys on the left of the keyboard and the other uses the keys on the right.

The score at the top of the screen counts the rounds you've won, and the first move switches between players every round, so nobody gets an unfair start.

Tips for playing on one phone

  • Lay the phone flat on a table between you. It's easier for both players to reach, and nobody has to hold it.
  • Turn the sound on for the full experience. Every game has its own sound effects, made right in your browser.
  • Try a tablet for action games. A bigger screen gives each player more room.

Playing alone

Every game here also has a vs Computer button. Most have levels from Easy to Expert. See all games against the computer.

Questions

Do both players need their own device?

No. Both players use the same phone, tablet or computer. That's the whole idea.

Do the games save our results?

No. The score is kept only while the game is open and is gone when you close it. Our visitor statistics count the games played, but not who played them (see the privacy policy).
